Word of the day: Inkhorn


Inkhorn. Definition: (adjective) Affectedly or ostentatiously learned; pedantic. (noun) A small bottle of horn or other material formerly used for holding ink. Ex: Some people use inkhorn words when they are trying to show off and if you ask them to spell it or what the word means they can't spell it or tell you what it means.
