Rahm Emanuel Elected Mayor of Chicago


Former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel was elected mayor of Chicago on Tuesday. The nations third largest city choose Emanuel over his 5 opponents to replace retiring Mayor Richard M. Daley. Emanuel came in with 55% of the vote earning him an outright victory that avoids a run-off in April. Many of the people of Chicago felt that Emanuel had a vision for their city and look forward to the changes he will implement in the coming years. Congratulations to Rahm Emanuel!
