Made In America?

What are you doing to help create jobs in America?

We could all help job growth in America by investing in more American made products.
News Week with Christiane Amanpour, reported that if every American spent 1% a day or $.18 a day on American made products, we would create 200,000 new jobs today.

Over the last decade many American corporations outsourced jobs to other countries because of cheaper labor. During the Bush Administration corporate regulation was relaxed and corporations took advantage of the "free" opportunity to outsource jobs to foreign markets. Today, Republicans continue to fight for less regulation of big corporations and seek to reverse any regulations that is done by the current Obama Administration.

It's no coincidence that many politicians have been CEOs, COOs, and executives of big businesses. The Republican party has an overwhelming number of executives turned politicians voting to keep corporate regulation to a minimum.

In 2010, billionaire former eBay chief executive Meg Whitman bankrolled millions into her Republican quest for governor of California. World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon, said she would spend up to $50 million of her own money in her bid to succeed retiring Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd. Last year, Rick Scott, a former health care CEO, became the Republican Governor of Michigan. And, Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive lent her campaign $5.5 million to win the GOP primary.

Big money is being spent because much is at stake and it will take every American coming together to derail the path that the Bush Administration has set our job market on.

So take some time to buy things made in America on a daily basis.
