Could Uncle Luke of 2 Live Crew Be the Next Mayor of Miami-Dade County
On Wednesday a recall vote gave current Miami/Dade county mayor, Carlos Alvarez his exiting papers and the possibility of Uncle Luke getting in the mayor's house just got stronger.
Campbell say, “When I take Mr. Alvarez’s job, I’ll review the county budget with a fine-toothed comb,” “When I ran my record company, every year we would first go over what was making revenue for us and beef that side up. Then we would cut the areas where we were not generating revenue. The first place we looked was payroll. I’ll do the same with the county budget.”
Uncle Luke has been a writer for the Miami New Times, where he’s been publishing columns over the past year. Back in January, he said he would allow his reality show cameras to be involved and “Cameras are going to capture when some lobbyist comes to see me to lobby me on some [stuff] they want approved. The cameras are going to be rolling when a commissioner meets with me when I want to talk about the things we need to build for this community. The voters are going to know who is full of [stuff] and who isn’t if I am elected mayor.”
Campbell had this to say about his frustrations with the lack of change in his community, “I get in my car, ride around Liberty City, and everything looks the same as when I was in the neighborhood growing up,” he continued, “I see the same crimes in the same areas. Officers and residents are still getting killed in the community I grew up in. I go to a city like Atlanta that has sensible affordable housing, and no one is being murdered. I go to Miami International Airport and see the same construction that has been going on for like a hundred years. All of that frustrates the hell out of me. Why aren’t we getting it right in Miami-Dade? Why is our government only serving one set of people? That’s what is pushing me to run.”
After hearing his passion about what he would do and why he wants to do it, I think Mr Campbell has a strong chance of becoming the next mayor of Miami-Dade County.

Is Lauryn Hill's 12 yr old daughter Selah the next Willow?
Neo Soul legend, Lauryn Hill's daughter Selah Marley is a huge fan of Justin Bieber and was inspired by him to start recording and posting her own singing session, like he did before he was discovered. Selah is also featured in the recent edition of Teen Vogue magazine.
Check out her vocals below. I can hear a little of her mother's voice in her maturing vocals. But, then again I guess any 12 yr old can be a pop star with a little practice and a supportive famous mentor, huh Willow? Gotta love the kids!

Earthquakes, Tsunamis & Hurricanes...... by Tyson-Lord J. Gray
Today, the global world experienced a tragedy of mass proportions. The earthquake which hit Japan’s coast this afternoon has now become part of the long list of natural disasters occurring, the world over. As we watched the videos, heard the eye witness accounts and saw the pictures, our hearts were filled with sympathy, shock and dismay. And even now as I write the death count continues to rise and the full extend of damages are unknown. Has not this scene become all too familiar? Was not the video footage of people standing on buildings amidst rising flood waters reminiscent of Hurricane Katrina? And did not the images of once massive buildings, now toppled, evoke memories of the Jan. 12th earthquake in Haiti?
My brothers and sisters, the writing is on the wall. The consequences of climate change and global warming are clearer than ever and the unfortunate reality is that scientists and climate change experts predict that this is only the beginning. As atmospheric temperatures continue to rise, so will circumstances and conditions necessary for more natural disasters in the way of category five hurricanes such as the eight which developed in the Atlantic Ocean during the last ten years, heat waves such as those experienced by Europe and Russia in 2003 and 2010, respectively, tsunamis similar to the one which struck Indonesia in 2004, tornados like those which touched down in Brooklyn and Queens, New York in Sept. of 2010, spontaneous wildfires like those throughout California in recent years and earthquakes similar to the one we stand distraught over today.
As a Christian, I am prayerful; as an ethicist, I am concerned; as an environmentalist, I am challenged and as a scholar, I am compelled. I am compelled to write and remind you and perhaps even to remind myself of the reasons I wear this label…“environmentalist.” It is because beneath the academic presentations, the scholarly conferences, the class room lectures, the philosophical debates and the religious dialogue I understand that human lives are hanging in the balance. As Dr. King once wrote, “All persons are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly.” And while I would be the first to admit that I am the least qualified to correct Dr. King, I would suggest for your reflection today that it’s not merely all persons who are caught in this garment of destiny, it is all creation.
As theologian Thomas Berry points out, the only self-referential entity is Earth. Air, water, trees, soil, sunlight…these, my brothers and sisters are the universal components of life and existence. They are not determined by philosophical ideologies, motivated by political affiliations nor subject to religious doctrine. Instead, they are impartial and freely given to all: Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, Republicans, Democrats, Communists, Blacks, Whites, Asians, those young, those old, the rich, the poor, humans and animals. I suggest that our mutual respect for those things is a sign of our very humanity. Our disregard however, is cause for great concern. For inasmuch as we deny this reality, we deny the very nature of existence. As we pray for Japan and all those affected by this tragedy, let us also look inward and take accountability for our own environmental disregard. Let us each ask ourselves how our own materialism, over-consumption and nonrenewable ways of living have made possible and perpetuated such disasters? It is not until we begin here that we can stand in solidarity with the victims and begin to construct from the rubble new modes of sustainable and harmonious living within a shared world of existence.
…to be continued…

Rev. Jesse Jackson Addressing Fox News' Megyn Kelly
Fox News' Megyn Kelly interviewed Rev. Jesse Jackson as he stood amongst the protesters at the state capitol of Wisconsin. Rev.
Jackson gave his opinion on what has been happening there for the last few weeks.
In her closing remarks to Rev. Jackson, she says, "Well my final question for you sir before I let you go, is ah, it seems like you're saying you should look at the popular will and govern accordingly, again I go back to the Healthcare Legislation, the popular will was against that bill and yet President Obama and the Democrats pushed that through on a national level and you felt very differently about that piece of legislation than you do about this one."
So the brilliant Rev. Jackson replied,
"59 million Americans don't have health insurance and people are dying because of that. 50 million Americans are in poverty. 40 million are on food stamps, so there's a sense that which, in which the wealth has been subsidized and their getting much wealthier without connecting to manufacturing and poor people are dying. So there's a sense that death for the poorest people and surplus for the wealthiest. And there's something about that, that's unhealthy for our democracy and so as Roosevelt fought for a new deal, we now need a better deal for the American worker. You can't close plants here and take jobs to keep labor markets. And leave people with no place to stay and they can't educate their children and think they gonna take it laying down. Workers are righteously and nonviolently fighting back and that's the best thing they can do. Thank you very much."
You may say what you want about Rev. Jackson, but he does go out of his way to support democracy all over this country and he doesn't seem to be derailed by people judging or criticizing him. See how Rev. Jesse Jackson still has his fight and compassion for the under privileged below:

How To Save On Gas.
1. When To Buy Gas: Buy gasoline during coolest time of day - early morning or late evening is best. During these times gasoline is densest. Keep in mind - gas pumps measure volumes of gasoline, not densities of fuel concentration. You are charged according to "volume of measurement".
2. What Type of Gas To Buy: Choose type and brand of gasoline carefully. Certain brands provide you with greater economy because of better quality. Use the brands which "seem" most beneficial.
3. Why To Much Gas Is Harmful: Avoid filling gas tank to top. Overfilling results in sloshing over and out of tank. Never fill gas tank past the first "click" of fuel nozzle, if nozzle is automatic.
4. Why Your Speed Is Important: Stoplights are usually timed for your motoring advantage. By traveling steadily at the legal speed limit you boost your chances of having the "green light" all the way.
5. Where To Drive: Avoid rough roads whenever possible, because dirt or gravel rob you of up to 30% of your gas mileage
6. How To Park the Car: Park car so that you can later begin to travel in forward gear; avoid reverse gear maneuvers to save gas.
7. When To Let the Car Rest: Automatic transmissions should be allowed to cool down when your car is idling at a standstill, e.g. railroad crossings, long traffic lights, etc. Place gear into neutral position. This reduces transmission strain and allows transmission to cool.
8. How To Maintenance the Tires: inflate all tires to maximum limit. Each tire should be periodically spun, balanced and checked for out-of-round. When shopping for new tires, get large diameter tires for rear wheels. Radial designs are the recognized fuel-savers; check manufacturer's specifications for maximum tire pressures.
9. Why Less Weight Makes Even A Car Healthier: Remove excess weight from trunk or inside of car - extra tires, back seats, unnecessary heavy parts. Extra weight reduces mileage, especially when driving up inclines.
10. What Speeds Really Work For You: Never exceed legal speed limit. Primarily they are set for your traveling safety, however better gas efficiency also occurs. Traveling at 55 mph give you up to 21% better mileage when compared to former legal speed limits of 65 mph and 70 mph.

Made In America?
What are you doing to help create jobs in America?
We could all help job growth in America by investing in more American made products. News Week with Christiane Amanpour, reported that if every American spent 1% a day or $.18 a day on American made products, we would create 200,000 new jobs today.
Over the last decade many American corporations outsourced jobs to other countries because of cheaper labor. During the Bush Administration corporate regulation was relaxed and corporations took advantage of the "free" opportunity to outsource jobs to foreign markets. Today, Republicans continue to fight for less regulation of big corporations and seek to reverse any regulations that is done by the current Obama Administration.
It's no coincidence that many politicians have been CEOs, COOs, and executives of big businesses. The Republican party has an overwhelming number of executives turned politicians voting to keep corporate regulation to a minimum.
In 2010, billionaire former eBay chief executive Meg Whitman bankrolled millions into her Republican quest for governor of California. World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon, said she would spend up to $50 million of her own money in her bid to succeed retiring Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd. Last year, Rick Scott, a former health care CEO, became the Republican Governor of Michigan. And, Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive lent her campaign $5.5 million to win the GOP primary.
Big money is being spent because much is at stake and it will take every American coming together to derail the path that the Bush Administration has set our job market on.
So take some time to buy things made in America on a daily basis.

Rep. Anthony Weiner Corrects Fox News, AGAIN!
If you didn't get a chance to see Fox News' Megyn Kelly and my favorite representative, Rep. Anthony Weiner, discuss why Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas should not be able to judge any constitutional challenge to President Obama's health care law, since his wife, Virginia, is a lobbyist for a firm that is advocating against the law, then here it is for your viewing pleasure.
Anthony Weiner is the ish and I love watching him correct the news reporters for bias reporting or blatant lies. He'll get my vote if he decides to run for President in 2016. In fact lets start the campaigning now for Anthony Weiner 2016.

Two Is Company, But Are Threesomes A Crowd?
Usually when two people start a relationship they have no idea where it will end up in the long run. They hope for the best and try to make the best of every situation that comes up. But what happens when one or both of the individuals in a relationship decide they are open to a THREESOME?
Rules have to be set, each person has to be as giving as they possibly can, and everyone must find something to do or someone may be walking away pissed off. Threesomes are not something most people like to discuss because they are looked upon as taboo fantasies that our Christian society would never accept.
Some people start threesomes thinking they have control of the situation and that it's gonna go as planned, but what they fell to understand is that there are THREE people involved and each person has an idea of what they want out of the experience.
So this brings up the possibility of what if the threesome becomes a twosome right before your very eyes? So now you're watching the person you say you're in love with or simply in a relationship with, having sex with someone else and seemingly enjoying the other person more than they enjoy you. Or maybe they spark a chemistry with the third person and decide you're no longer needed and exclude you in further sessions. Now the threesome has taken on a life of its own and what started as your bright idea has left you at home alone with no love or relationship to comfort you.
But who knows, maybe a threesome will bring a couple closer together and the third party involved will have the satisfaction of knowing they helped build a relationship. NOT! For most it seems to be a mere fantasy and once acted upon you can not take back the experience and whatever happens to the relationship is left up to the couple.
However, for the single man or woman a threesome may be a healthy way of finding out what you really enjoy before getting into a relationship. I mean with no commitment you make up the rules as you go alone, because you're single and can do whatever the hell you want, right?
So I say, if you're single the world is your oyster but if you're in relationship tread lightly because you may fall into a dark situation.
Check out a recent episode of The Game, that dealt with the threesome issue, below.

Rihanna and Lil Wayne Being Called Out For Being Disrespectful
So it looks like Lil Wayne and Rihanna are being called out for their lyrics, in what some seem to think are disrespectful to women and society. Everyone from Louis Farrakhan to little 9 and 10 year old girls going by the name Watoto From the Nile have spoke out recently against the two artist.
During Farrakhan's annual Savior's Day Speech near Chicago on Sunday he criticized Rihanna for her dirty dancing, lyrics, and dressing. He went on to call her "filthy" and her fans "swine."
Rihanna took to Twitter to respond to his harsh words towards her, saying, “A minister says I perform filthy, sat+watched the filth, then called u SWINE for doin the same! Haa, is that judgment in ur tone?” she continued on to say: “I certainly don’t think u are swine! But a holy man of God does!!! #swineNavy.”
Lil Wayne was called out for a similar reason but by two little girls and they are not happy with the way he speaks about women and seems to treat women. (I guess Laura London, Nivea, and Toya could learn a lot from some little girls.) The girls wrote a song called, Letter to Lil Wayne, that can now be purchased for $.99. They performed the song using Lil Wayne's beat from his song, I'm Single, and recorded a video that is going viral over the internet via YouTube. Check it out here.

Kandi in the VAJAYJAY!
I knew I was not crazy, I think this has been used on me before. Listen to RHWOA, Kandi explains to Monique the secret behind putting sugar in the vagina, and how the sugar grips the penis to pull the babies out of a man. Kandi is working on her own line of sex toys and judging from this conversation with Monique she will have plenty of great toys to play around with. Who knew there were so many secrets to getting a woman pregnant? I guess the best thing for a man to do is buy his own condoms and keep her out of the kitchen before sex. I'm speechless....
